band merchandise - top 5 Tips

Band merchandise in particular custom band merch can be very difficult to get right and source at the right cost, so I thought I would put together a Top 5 Tips when creating  custom band merchandise.

Tip 1 : keep it simple, if you have a small budget, don't design a band t-shirt with loads of colours in it, it may look good on screen but you'll never be able to get them to wicked looking band tee shirts.

Tip 2: Understand the band merch where you can max out the colours, such as band badges or bottle openers, go for your life on the colours here, create stand out images but at no extra cost.

Tip 3: If you were gonna buy some band badges then some guitar picks, is there a tour merch deal. Even if its not on the website, its worth asking as there may be one.

Tip 4: Start small and build up, most bands are on a budget so why not start with some band badges or some guitar picks then you sell those and build the pot up so you can afford the band t-shirts.

Tip 5: pick a destinctive image, this needs to be something memorable so fans can remember which band you are, not all fans have heard the band 100 times, so its great to make sure they remember whose band merch they have bought.

Well that's it for today's top 5 tips on band merchandise, more to follow soon.

Cheers
